God, we're such complete liars. Well, not so much liars but a band that has little ability to meet a deadline. The Summer is almost gone and we're still recording vocal tracks so the chances of this album making it out before Summer's end are pretty slim. The good news is we finally came up with a title. Ready? Set?

From Drumbeat to Telstar

I'm not even going to speculate as to when it will be released. We do have a few songs finished and may post some alternate mixes soon. Stay tuned!

My my, it's been some time since we've made any updates to the site. We've been quite busy recording our latest album. No title yet, but we've recorded seven (count 'em seven!) new songs. Most of the tunes still have only their working titles, but here's how things are shaping up:

Salvation Army
P*rn Girls
Miss You
Harriet
Pig Latin
Prom
Take this organ out

We're hoping to have the album out by Summer. We'll probably post a couple of tracks soon. Stay tuned.

Hey wow! We posted some songs on www.garageband.com and cracked the top 40 with Whatever makes you happy and the top 100 with Sorry you won't stay. Check it out.

The new E.P is done! Check it out here.

Damn, It's been quite a while since I've posted an update. We've been quite busy over the last several months - in between trying to hold down a day job and paying the beer tab, we've been working on some new sonic gems. The new E.P. is tentatively named Sorry you won't stay... and it should be out before the end of the year. So far, the songs are:

Sorry you won't stay
Hannah, your star is shinning
The ending
Whatever makes you happy

...plus maybe a surprise or two.

I might post the single before the album is out, so stay tuned. In the meantime, we'll be holed up in the studio until we get these songs finished.

It's freezing out there! I guess it's a good time to go hide in the studio until the spring. Working with an old friend on a new single - hope to have it out in a few months. Also, we're hard at work writing new songs for our first full-length album. Stay tuned!

Am I Evil? makes Broadjam.com's indie/low fi Top 10!
Check it out here.

10.13.03
Finally - the new single is out! Feeling Lucky with Am I Evil? and Talking with Allison can be heard on the Records page or at MP3.com. The talented John Nugent plays lead guitar on the single. Try it, it's tasty.

Ahhh...the tortures of spring. A lot of grey days, rain and mental funkiness caused by spending too much time indoors. Then suddenly, sunlight appears again like a long lost friend who steps in at the last minute to help us in the middle of a street brawl with coldness, darkness and sadness...

Almost done recording the songs for the single. Actually, it's turning into more of an EP with 3 or 4 songs. If all goes well, I'll have it out by summer. Stay tuned...

Happy new year. We've been busy in the studio again, working on two brand spankin' new songs. The songs are tentatively titled Feeling Lucky b/w Talking with Allison. But that could change - we haven't written any words yet (at least any that don't make us cringe). We're hoping to put out the new single in a month or so. A guitarist friend from NYC was supposed to pay us a visit and play on the new songs but, apparently there was some incident at the bus station involving a "rented" chainsaw and he was unable to make it. This could delay things a little...

Spent some time over the holidays, between egg nog supping and snowball fights, wandering around our little town of Stroudsburg, PA. Hung up some signs looking for some other music people, but mainly wasted time hanging around the local record shop.

11.26.02
So I finally finished recording the E.P. It took me almost a year - ok so I had to build a little studio in my basement and collect some instruments along the way - but still...

Anyway, I plan to spend much of the holidays sequestered in the basement...
